Highly rated Austrian manager Ralph Hasenhüttl has been confirmed as the new manager of Southampton following the sacking of Mark Hughes after Saints drew 2-2 against Manchester United on the weekend.

Hasenhüttl left RB Leipzig in May this year and has since been without a team. Some of his achievements include guiding Ingolstadt 04 from second last in 2. Bundesliga in 2013 to promtion to the Bundesliga where they eventually finished 11th.
Saints currently sit 17th on the log with just one win in their 14 games and Hasenhüttl will travel to Wembley to watch his team take on Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night before taking over for the game on the weekend against Cardiff.
