The Afghanistan Cricket Board has released a 23 man list of probable names that will eventually become the 15 man final squad for the 2019 ICC World Cup.
The big announcement was the appointment of Gulbadin Naib as captain while Rashid Khan has been appointed the vice-captain at just 20-years-old.
Asghar Afghan has been stripped of the captaincy which brings an end to a highly successful time during which the team became full ICC members as well as secured their first test match win over Ireland in March.
The decision was met with widespread criticism from fans and there appears to be a lot of behind the scenes factors.
Can you please reverse you decision for ODI captain…!
