Toni Kroos has signed a new deal that will keep him at Real Madrid until 2023.
Zinedine Zidane has started his summer rebuild by retaining star midfielder Kroos with the 29-year-old putting pen to paper for another four years.
Kroos has won 12 titles thus far at the Spanish giants including four Champions League titles.
Real Madrid finished third in the La Liga and was knocked out of the Champions League in the Round of 16 by Ajax.
As a result, this summer has been earmarked for a club overhaul with lots of departures and arrivals expected which could see the likes of Gareth Bale, Keylor Navas and Isco on the way out.
