Harry Kane has not ruled out a move away from his beloved Tottenham Hotspur citing the desire to win trophies as the reason he might look to another club during his career.
Kane has quickly established himself as one of the best strikers in world football with an incredible record of 181 goals and 30 assists in just 278 games for Spurs, but the striker is turning 27-years-old and will be coming into his peak and so might be thinking it is time to start adding trophies to his goal record.
When asked about the lack of trophies in his collection Kane’s replay was the following:
Obviously I get asked this question a lot. It’s one of them things. I couldn’t say yes, I couldn’t say no. I love Spurs, I’d always love Spurs, but it’s one of those things. I’ve always said if I don’t feel progression in the team or it’s going the right direction then I’m not someone to just stay there for the sake of it.
This will certainly peak the interest of a lot of clubs with Manchester United constantly linked to the Spurs talisman while Real Madrid would be a good fit as well.
Given the season full of injuries, it is likely that Kane will remain at Spurs for at least another season, but after that and once the Euro’s are complete, who knows where he might venture off to.
