Bulls pivot Manie Libbok has officially joined the Sharks as Jake White’s overhaul in Pretoria continues.
The 22-year-old flyhalf joins the Natal union on a two-year deal and will join a star-studded backline that already includes Luckanyo Am, Makazole Mapimpi, Curwin Bosch and rising star Aphelele Fassi.
Despite impressing at junior levels, Libbok has struggled for notable game time and form at the Bulls. Finding game time might continue to be a struggle with Bosch and Fassi ahead of him in the pecking order, but should have a good chance to stake a claim for the N0. 10 jersey during the Currie Cup.
The Bulls re-signed veteran Morne Steyn in 2019 and have been heavily linked with a move for Stormers flyhalf Damian Willemse as they look to find a long term replacement for Handre Pollard.
