The transfer of the summer window looks like it might not drag on as long as we thought with Jadon Sancho having reportedly already agreed terms with Manchester United.
The Borussia Dortmund star has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford after leaving Manchester City in 2017.
Since then he has established himself as one of the best right-wingers in the world and a future England star.
This season alone he has contributed 20 goals and 20 assists in 40 matches across all competitions.
With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer trying to build a title-challenging side, Sancho appears to be another defining piece in the puzzle with United having been on the lookout for a genuine RW for years.
Dortmund value the young star at around the £115m mark with Manchester United recently deciding that they will not pay more than £50m for him.
Whether that was a transfer strategy or a genuine cap on what they are willing to spend only time will tell but The Sun is reporting that Sancho has already agreed terms for the move.
It is reported that he will sign a five-year contract with a base wage of £140 000 a week which is expected to rise to the £200 000 with bonuses.
Considering that he already earns £190 000 a week at Dortmund, it would be a great piece of business to keep him at the £200 000 mark, effectively replacing the wages of Romelu Lukaku who left at the beginning fo the season.
If the reports are true then it would appear that all that is needed to be finalized is the final transfer fee.
With a number of players on the selling list for United including Chris Smalling, Juan Mata, Alexis Sanchez, and Jesse Lingard, United would definitely be able to subsidize a higher bid than £50m with the selling of Sanchez freeing up lots of room in the wages department.
