Crusaders Head Coach Scott Robertson is set to decide his future this week with initial reports suggesting he will remain at the helm of the Christchurch side.
Robertson lead the side to yet another Super Rugby title after the team lifted the Super Rugby Aotearoa trophy over the weekend.
While in the running for the All Blacks coach, Robertson was beaten to the position by Ian Foster and so is set to sign an extension at the Crusaders keeping him in charge until 2023 which aligns with the Rugby World Cup.
If the Crusader’s performances continue to be so dominant, it looks likely that Robertson will then become Foster’s successor,
Robertson has won four Super Rugby titles since taking over the Crusaders in 2017 and before that as well as led the New Zealand U20s to a World U20 Championship before that.
With a record like that, Robertson will have no shortage of suitors, but according to New Zealand Herald, he is comfortable in Christchurch and a decision of his stay will be announced in the near future.
