It’s a belter of a weekend in the Premier League with a London Derby and a clash of giants with United hosting Liverpool on Sunday.
FPL time! The biggest question for FPL managers is, who are you going to captain? This year, a sure bet has been Mo Salah with back-to-back double points in his last two game weeks. Here are a few options to mull over before Friday night!
Fixture: Brentford (A)
The Foxes travel to Brentford this weekend, where Liverpool managed a point and Chelsea barely held onto all three. Enter Jamie Vardy! Vardy travels to the Bees with goals in the bag; the forward has five goals in his last four games – a good argument for why he should have the band this week.
Fixture: Aston Villa (H)
The Arsenal man is in a fine run of form at the Emirates with three goals in his last three home games. With a home game in Gameweek 9, the forward looks set for a decent points return and a good captain pick.
Fixture: Manchester United (A)
The Egyptian is a level above everyone else at the moment! He has scored in all but one game week, with 13 points in Gameweek 7 and 8! United have conceded ten goals this season; no doubt Salah will be ready to add to that total. To not captain him would be a risky move for any manager!
Fixture: West Ham (A)
The Korean is the second-highest scoring midfielder after Salah, with two goals and two assists in his last three games. Kane is back in the goals, which could see their dynamic duel reignited against the Hammers. Either way, the Tottenham man is hard to overlook for the captaincy.
